Global paper and packaging company International Paper (IP) and Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills have announced the opening of their new headquarters in Hyderabad, India.

IP said that the office, which is spread across 24,000ft2, will house about 100 employees.

Last year, IP acquired Andhra Paper, which become a part of IP's global enterprise. The move strengthens IP's commitment towards India.

IP India president and Andhra Paper executive chairman Paul Brown said the company looks forward to continuing to grow in the country.

IP has manufacturing operations in North America, Europe, Latin America, Russia, Asia and North Africa.
